Since its inception in 2007, Espace GAIA's objective has been to exhibit the works of established and emerging artists from around the world. The gallery hosts around eight exhibitions a year in its space in the heart of Geneva's Vieille Ville. Our beautiful interior mixes rustic stone walls and ancient timber beams with clean contemporary lines, creating the ideal setting for the diverse works of our artists.
Espace GAIA is managed by gallerists Louise Brun and Poni Ujlaky. Between them, Louise and Poni have many years of experience in the international art world. Louise started her career working for leading Australian dealer Rob Gould for two years before taking up the position of sales manager at Savill Galleries in Sydney, where she worked directly under Denis Savill, the pre-eminent secondary art dealer in Australia. She set up Espace GAIA almost five years ago. Meanwhile, Poni began her career in London, working for Cawdell Douglas, a PR consultancy specializing in the arts and culture, with clients such as TEFAF Maastricht and BADA Art and Antiques Fair. She then spent five years working for Sotheby's, first in Sydney, then in London, where she was responsible for promoting Contemporary Art sales. She joined Louise at Espace GAIA two years ago.
